Ananya Salian is a senior school student at a selective secondary school in Melbourne, Australia. Along with being a high achieving student, she strives to constantly expand the breadth of her skills and experiences, playing the piano and cello, golfing and learning classical dance whilst engaging herself in the wider school community through her involvement as a representative of her school's Alumni Association as well as Division Director of Interact Club.

Outside of her extracurriculars, school and work, Ananya has a passion for all kinds of art, ranging from visual arts, to music as well as theatre. She enjoys painting, sketching and clay sculpting, and participates in Indian Classical Dance concerts. She is also currently studying for her AMEB Grade 7 Piano Exams and enjoys photography, having an account dedicated to taking pictures of food, architecture and landscapes.

 

Along with all her interests and extracurricular involvement, Ananya is also an experienced Maths and English instructor at Kumon and in 2022, a Finance intern at the Neighbourhood Houses Victoria.
