Ridhima Motewar is a high school student living in California. As a two-year Varsity Public Forum debater and the Vice President of Quarry Lane DECA, she has extensive experience in public speaking and leadership.
Ridhima is interested in pursuing both mechanical engineering and business in college: her interest in engineering stems from her experience in robotics and programming. She is part of leadership on her highschool robotics team and works with both mechanical and business departments. Ridhima additionally has a passion for volunteering as a Youth Ambassador for Akshaya Patra, a 501c3 nonprofit that provides food for children in India. Throughout the last few years, she has hosted numerous workshops to raise awareness and funds for the organization. Her favorite memory from 2023 was her one-week trip to Orlando, Florida, where she competed in the DECA International Career Development Conference and became an International Champion.

In her free time, Ridhima cherishes creating art: she enjoys working with colored pencil and watercolor. An avid reader, she loves anything from classics to fairy tales, and her favorite book is The Scarlet Pimpernel. Her favorite sport is volleyball, and she is a two-year member of her school’s JV volleyball team.
