Biography

As a freshman, Naomi founded her school's award-winning Speech division, going on to win top 5th in numerous Speech & Debate national tournaments over the years. She enjoys coaching her students and watching their potential grow every week. At LeadYouth, she has coached several learners to win top places and Speaker of the Night in their division.

Naomi is also a budding entrepreneur who is passionate about making social impact. In April 2021, she co-founded a student nonprofit, S | KEY, selling handmade safety keychains with the objective of supporting marginalized groups. All keychains sold out at the pop-up sale, and 90% of the profit was donated to Stop Street Harassment, Inc.

In her free time, Naomi enjoys leading her school’s a cappella group, reading, and writing poetry. A fangirl of Agatha Christie-esque thrillers, she somehow finds herself in the middle of five books at a time. A food and drink aficionado, Naomi is always up for a boba run. Ask her about the best dim sum dish (it's har gow, hands down).
