LeadYouth Internship Position Details

​

  • Real-world experience and mentorship in content creation, communication, and leadership.​

Internship Guidelines & Time Commitment

​

  • Minimum weekly commitment: 1-2 hours per week.

  • Maximum workload: Flexible, but interns should prioritize school, personal well-being, and free time.

  • Breaks: You can take several days off during exams, illness, or personal time. Just notify your LeadYouth contact in advance.

  • Coaching Responsibilities: If you commit to coaching and have agreed on a session date, please stick to the schedule or reschedule within 2 weeks with prior notice to your Lead Coach.

  • Managing Multiple Projects: Start small, gauge your workload, and increase commitments during school breaks if possible.

 

📌 If you choose to proceed, you will:

  • Receive a contract outlining intern expectations.

  • Need parental approval to join.

  • Provide bank details for payment (we only use PayPal and Zelle).

  • Be paid monthly for completed work.

Internship Positions & Details

​

1. Primary Course Videos (3-5 mins, including edits, script provided) – $175 per video

Estimated Time: 3-5 hours per video

​

  • Create engaging, high-quality videos for LeadYouth’s Public Speaking, Leadership, and Emotional Intelligence courses.

  • Follow provided scripts and incorporate storytelling, animations, or visuals to enhance learning.

  • Edit the video to meet LeadYouth’s style and quality standards.

  • Ensure clear audio, proper lighting, and an engaging on-camera presence (if applicable).

  • Example topics: How to Overcome Stage Fear, The Power of Leadership, Managing Emotions Effectively.

 

2. Videos Based on Blogs, LinkedIn, or Other LeadYouth Content (1.5-3 mins, including edits) – $75 per video

Estimated Time: 2-4 hours per video

  • Convert existing LeadYouth content into short, engaging videos.

  • Highlight key takeaways and present them in an informative and visually appealing way.

  • Edit and format the video for social media and website use.

  • Example topics: Tips for Confident Speaking, Leadership in Everyday Life, Emotional Intelligence in School.

 

3. Edit/Improve Existing Videos – $25 per video

Estimated Time: 1-2 hours per video

  • Enhance pre-recorded videos by refining visuals, adding captions, adjusting audio, and making necessary edits.

  • Ensure videos align with LeadYouth’s branding and quality standards.

  • Improve pacing, clarity, and engagement in the content.

 

4. Short Social Media Videos (30 sec - 1 min, script provided) – $20 per video

Estimated Time: 1-2 hours per video

  • Create concise and engaging videos that highlight key skills or messages from LeadYouth courses.

  • Use a provided script to produce quick, attention-grabbing clips for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.

  • Example themes: "One Tip for Public Speaking," "How to Show Leadership at School," "Why Emotional Intelligence Matters."

 

5. Short Social Media Videos with Self-Created Script (subject to approval) – $35 per video

Estimated Time: 2-3 hours per video

  • Develop and script original social media video content based on LeadYouth’s themes.

  • Ensure the content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with the organization’s values.

  • Submit a script for approval before recording and editing the video.

 

6. Social Media Engagement (Comment, Like, Share) – $5 per post (max 20 per month)

Estimated Time: 15-30 minutes per post

  • Actively engage with LeadYouth’s social media platforms by commenting on posts, sharing content, and liking relevant discussions.

  • Help build a stronger community by interacting with followers and boosting visibility.

 

10. UI and AI Web and Mobile App Developers (1 Position)

  • Involves app development tasks related to LeadYouth’s AI-based public speaking training app.

 

11. Coach a Learner (Lesson plans provided) – $19 per hour

Estimated Time: 2-4 hours per week (depending on availability)

  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with learners based on Public Speaking, Leadership, and Emotional Intelligence courses.

  • Use structured lesson plans to guide students through key concepts and skill-building exercises.

  • Provide encouragement, feedback, and personalized support to help students grow.
