Educational Product Marketing Consultant

Contract, Remote (3 Months)


As LeadYouth expands service offerings and opportunities for learners, we are seeking a marketing consultant who can help us find our ideal audience. The Educational Product Marketing Consultant will be responsible for creating an overall marketing strategy to be executed by our internal team. 


This is a flexible short-term contract role. Compensation is competitive and negotiable based on experience. 


The ideal candidate has experience marketing or promoting online educational products for K-12 learners. They should be able to offer examples of successful marketing strategies or campaigns they have led in the education, elearning, or tutoring industry.   • Identify target audience and develop strategies to reach them

  • Analyze current product positioning and suggest or incorporate changes

  • Review ads, keywords, and competition and offer suggestions to improve results

  • Audit website content, social media, email campaigns, sales pages, and services list for consistency and brand alignment

  • Suggest adjustments to branding, product offerings, or pricing as needed

  • Review performance of all marketing channels and suggest or make strategic improvements

  • Select and implement enrollment and revenue growth strategies 


Required qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing or promoting educational products for K-12 learners

  • Experience with planning and implementing Google Ads and PPC campaigns

  • Proven experience in creating and implementing marketing strategies

  • Must have reliable internet and phone access

  • Must be able to speak and write English at an advanced level

  • Comfortable using Zoom and equivalent video conferencing software

  • Able to work independently and remotely

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in marketing online, membership-based products

  • Understanding of what parents look for in educational products and services

  • Knowledge of how multi-cultural perspectives influence purchasing decisions

Minimum deliverables: 

Deliverables for this contract include, but may not be limited to: 

  • Strategy document with guidelines on how to reach the target market

  • Customer profiles with pain points and solutions

  • Branding guidelines based on existing brand and proposed changes

  • Competitive/product positioning map
