Dr. Chari is a Child, Adolescent, & Family Psychologist.

He is a Medical Director and lead psychologist at University of New Mexico Pain Consultation and Treatment Center-- a nationally recognized interdisciplinary pain clinic. He is past president of the New Mexico Psychological Association.

 

Dr. Chari has worked with children and adolescents his whole life. Starting at Boys Town Residential Treatment facility in Omaha, Nebraska, throughout his doctoral residencies at Mt. Sinai, University of Illinois, and the University of Chicago, and now providing integrated care to middle school and medically complex children in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has worked extensively with trauma and recovery throughout his career. Dr. Chari lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with his much smarter wife and much more opinionated 5-year-old daughter.

Dr. Chari offers advice on LeadYouth's course content and guidance to the coaches to help develop our young learners' confidence, influence, and authority not just in the realm of a speech contest or a leadership position but in all aspects of life!
